Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Plans & Initial Payment

  1. Memberships are priced at the following monthly equivalent rates: Children’s Membership £28/month; Gold Membership £50/month; Platinum Membership £83/month; Family Membership £125/month.
  2. All memberships begin with a minimum initial membership term of six months. The full fee for this initial six-month period is payable in advance when the membership is activated.
  3. The initial six-month payments are therefore: Children’s £168; Gold £300; Platinum £498; Family £750.
  4. There is no separate joining fee. The initial clinical onboarding consultation is included within membership and does not count towards the member’s allowance of four standard membership appointments for that calendar month.
  5. Membership benefits apply only to the named member(s) and while the membership remains active.

2. After the Initial Six Months

  1. At the end of the prepaid six-month initial term, membership will automatically continue on a monthly rolling basis at the applicable monthly membership rate unless valid notice has been given.
  2. From month seven onwards, monthly membership payments will be collected automatically by Direct Debit. A valid Direct Debit must be set up before the end of the initial six-month period if the member wishes membership to continue without interruption.
  3. Once the membership is rolling monthly, it may be cancelled by giving at least one month’s written notice to [email protected].
  4. A member may give notice during the initial six-month term that they do not wish the membership to continue. If at least one month’s written notice is received before the end of the initial term, membership will end at the conclusion of the prepaid six-month period and no further membership payment will be taken.
  5. Stopping or cancelling a Direct Debit does not itself constitute valid notice of cancellation.

3. Cooling-Off & Refunds

  1. Any statutory cooling-off or cancellation rights that apply to the membership are unaffected by these Terms.
  2. Where a statutory cooling-off right applies and the member cancels within that period, any refund will be dealt with in accordance with applicable consumer law.
  3. If the member expressly asks for membership services to begin during an applicable cooling-off period, the member may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied where permitted by law.
  4. After any applicable cooling-off period has expired, the prepaid six-month fee is not ordinarily refundable merely because the member chooses not to use the service or wishes to end membership before the initial term expires. This does not affect statutory rights or any refund otherwise required by law.

4. Appointment Allowance

  1. Each registered member may book up to four standard membership appointments per calendar month, subject to appointment availability, clinical appropriateness and the Fair Usage Policy.
  2. Standard membership appointments are up to 30 minutes. Unused appointments do not roll over, accumulate, transfer or have a cash value.
  3. Priority access means access to the earliest available appointment where possible and does not guarantee a particular appointment time or clinician.
  4. At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Late cancellation or non-attendance may incur a £25 fee and may count towards the monthly appointment allowance.

5. Platinum Annual Comprehensive Health Check

  1. Platinum Membership includes an Annual Comprehensive Health Check, currently valued at £395, subject to the eligibility conditions below.
  2. The Health Check becomes available only after 12 consecutive months of continuous Platinum Membership.
  3. Platinum Membership must remain continuously active and all payments must be up to date throughout the qualifying period and when the Health Check is undertaken.
  4. If Platinum Membership is cancelled, terminated or lapses before 12 consecutive months are completed, the member will not qualify for the included Health Check.
  5. Once the initial 12-month qualifying period has been completed, one Annual Comprehensive Health Check may be undertaken during each subsequent 12-month period of continuous Platinum Membership.
  6. The Health Check cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, credited against membership fees or substituted for another service.

6. Children’s & Family Memberships

  1. Children’s Membership is available to patients under 18 and must be entered into by a parent or person with appropriate parental responsibility or authority.
  2. Children’s Membership includes the benefits displayed for that plan on the website, including an annual health review tailored to children.
  3. Family Membership covers up to four immediate family members named on the membership agreement.
  4. The four-standard-appointments-per-calendar-month allowance applies to each registered family member individually.
  5. For Family Membership, each registered member will have their medical profile reviewed as clinically appropriate during onboarding.

7. Services Outside Membership

Unless expressly included within the selected plan, additional charges may apply for:

  • Medications and pharmacy charges; blood tests or laboratory investigations beyond any stated discount; diagnostic imaging; procedures and minor surgery; joint injections and aesthetic treatments.
  • Specialist, hospital or third-party services; external provider charges; medical reports, certificates or administrative work; and additional services outside the membership entitlement.

Where reasonably possible, additional charges will be explained before the service is provided.

8. Fair Usage & Clinical Care

  1. Membership is intended to provide convenient access to private primary care and must not be used as a substitute for emergency, hospital or specialist services.
  2. sk:INSPIRE Medical may review usage where there are concerns about inappropriate use or where a different care pathway would be safer or more appropriate.
  3. Membership does not guarantee a prescription, investigation, treatment or referral. All clinical decisions remain subject to the treating clinician’s professional judgement.
  4. Membership is not an emergency or out-of-hours service. In a medical emergency, call 999 or use the appropriate NHS emergency service.

9. Payments After Month Six

  1. From month seven onwards, the applicable monthly membership fee will be collected by Direct Debit while the membership remains active.
  2. If a monthly payment is missed, declined or cancelled, membership benefits may be suspended until the account is brought up to date.
  3. Any membership fees properly due during an applicable notice period remain payable, subject to consumer law and statutory rights.

10. Changes, Suspension & Termination

  1. sk:INSPIRE Medical may reasonably update membership fees, benefits or these Terms because of changes in clinical practice, law, regulation, service availability or operational requirements. Reasonable notice of material changes will be provided where practicable.
  2. Membership may be suspended or terminated for non-payment, fraudulent or shared use, material breach, abusive or threatening behaviour, or where continuing membership would compromise safe or appropriate care.

11. Data Protection & General

  1. Personal and medical information will be processed in accordance with applicable data-protection law and the sk:INSPIRE Medical Privacy Policy.
  2. Membership is personal to the named member(s), non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  3. These Membership Terms should be read alongside the Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects statutory consumer rights.
